Further information

The Bison reserve has 90 hectares and there you can find over 100 different species of animals. The trail through the park is 6 km long. A special highlight is the public animal feeding which takes place two times a day. But the flight demonstration with eagles and birds of prey as well as the wolves who are used to humans provide an exceptional insight into the animal world.

As the name of the exhibit suggests, bisons, Europe's largest mammals, can be found here too. With 310 births since 1928, the bison reserve has contributed significantly to maintain the population of this endangered species.

You can watch the guardians at the public feeding daily (except on Sundays and holidays). Here is interesting information about the animals: The 30-minute flight demonstrations at the Falcon yard take place daily from March to November except on Mondays. From April 1 to October 31 at 11:30 am and at 3 pm , in March and November at 2 pm. The show presents a variety of birds: Buzzards, black kites, saker falcons, lanner falcon, owls and steppe eagles.

Since May 2012 a wolf pack has been living in the park. The wolf pack keeper offers you the opportunity to experience a truly close up and personal experience with wolf life. Do not miss the chance to come closer to these magnificent creatures. The wolf presentation takes place daily from April to October at 3:45 pm

You can always indulge yourself at the Wild Café. Overlooking the wild horse reserve, the modern building offers enough space to comfortably sip a coffee or select something tasty from the extensive menu.

The Bison reserve is open all year from 8:30 hrs. and visitors must leave when it starts getting dark. Last entrance is at:
