This Segway tour in the Schwarzatal goes along the panorama route. The tour begins after a briefing and training in the operation of the Segway. The 52km long Schwarza is regarded as the river in Germany that is most rich in gold and due to its special natural qualities it was voted river landscape of the year in 06/07 by the Friends of Nature Society. Here you will find one of the most diverse butterfly populations on the European continent.
You will travel with the Segway through a picturesque landscape, which Goethe himself expressed his admiration for. The tour then passes by the Schwarzburg, also called the "Pearl of Thüring Forest". Schwarzburg and Schwarzburg Castle gained fame through the then imperial president Friedrich Ebert in 1919, who signed the Weimar constitution here. The tour then goes past the Felsen landscape and through forests until you reach Lake Blankenburg and Blankenburg Waterfall where it ends.
